WASHINGTON (US): The outgoing Obama administration announced Tuesday a contribution of half a billion dollars towards the UN Green Climate Fund, just 72 hrs before Donald Trump gets control the White House.

The US$500 million payment, announced by State Department spokesman John Kirby inside of a statement, is the second from the Usa to compliment the N\’t Green Climate Fund, which aims to mitigate the consequences of climatic change within the world’s poorest countries.
