In January-February 2017 Georgia’s upload turnover with EU countries created 375 million USD, up 15% every year, including exports marked 102 million USD, up 31% every year, and imports totaled 274 million USD, up 10% every year.

According to Geostat, ratio for these countries in Georgia’s total move turnover created 26%, including 29% in exports and 26% in imports (27%, 28% and 27% in January-February 2016). Trade deficit with EU member countries constituted 24% (26% in January-February 2016).

Georgia’s upload turnover with CIS countries totaled 497 million USD, up 40% as compared to January 2016, including exports composed 129 million USD, up 75% and imports marked 367 million USD, up 31%. Ratio of CIS countries in Georgia’s total upload turnover created 35%, including 36% in exports and 34% in imports (29%, 26% and 30% in January-February 2016). In January-February 2017 trade deficit with CIS states made 33% (32% in January-February 2016).
