The smoke of Pirveli cigarettes, manufactured by Tbilisi Tobacco company, contains excessive number of tar, nicotine and asphyxiating gas, the report prepared by Toxicology Prevention and Chemical Safety Research Center of Health Ministry of Ukraine, reads, using the Ukranews.
\”All degrees of cigarettes were found with excessive volume of tar, nicotine and asphyxiating gas C 10.1 and 10mg.
Namely, real degree of tar in Pirveli 7 Blue nonfilter cigarette (19.5mg) exceeds the quantity indicated by the maker about the box (10mg) by about twice.
Excessive volume of tar was found in other brands too: Pirveli Premium Blue 7 C 11.6 mg (indicated 8 mg), Pirveli International Blue 7 – 12.7 mg (indicated 8 mg).
At duration, excessive volume of asphyxiating gas was detected in the majority of examined brands. 14.2 mg asphyxiating gas was detected in ?Pirveli Premium Red 9 and Pirveli Premium Blue 7,? and Pirveli International Blue 7 was found with? 15.8 mg asphyxiating gas, when in all cases, the maker has indicated? 10 mg asphyxiating gas volume.
The examined samples also showed excessive content of nicotine. As an example, nicotine volume in? Pirveli 7 Blue is 1.35 mg, while 1mg is indicated\”, the report reads.
